Join us for the next gathering of the Rainbow Entrepreneur Collective to Grow Your Community of 2SLGBTQIA+ Business-Owning Peers.

Back at a pride event hosted by Small Business BC in 2023, we noticed a massive appetite among queer entrepreneurs to develop more meaningful and generative spaces for us to gather and learn from one another’s stories and strategies. The opportunity for 2SLGBTQIA+ business owners and leaders to gather and connect had been missing for too long. And so we formed the Rainbow Entrepreneur Collective to fill this gap and to bring more colour into each of our professional lives by organizing quarterly gatherings for likeminded professionals to share their experiences with one another.

The response to our first few gatherings was overwhelmingly positive, and we’re excited to bring our community back together for our next gathering at Small Business BC on September 24, 2024 from 5:00-6:30pm.

Join us for this facilitated event that will include small group discussions about what you– the entrepreneurs of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community– need and seek to support you and your business’s success. By showing up, honestly sharing, and listening with an open heart, we promise you’ll be inspired to shine brighter through your business.

A Couple Notes:

• A Sober Space: We’re working hard to create a safe, consent-centred space that provides meaningful opportunities for participants to speak, listen, and connect from the heart. As such, we’re proud to identify our gatherings as sober-centred.

• Allies? REC is a volunteer-run organization focused on supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ community; as such, our events are catered specifically to members of the rainbow community, and we kindly request that allies find another avenue to supporting queers in business.
